Every image here started as a raw capture. What follows is the editing work that turned it into the final photograph. Nothing hidden, nothing exaggerated.
Color grading & retouching
The camera captures light. Grading decides what it feels like. Here, warmer tones and softened contrast pull the image toward that cinematic, editorial look - while retouching cleans up skin and fine detail without losing what makes the shot feel real.

Compositing & creative post-production
This is where the shoot becomes the concept. Elements are added, removed, or rebuilt entirely. And the real work is not dropping something into the frame, it is making the whole image believe it belongs there: matching light, shadow, color, and perspective until the addition feels native to the original photo, not layered on top of it.

I'm Debjit - a frontend developer based in downtown Vancouver. I picked up a camera about three years ago with absolutely no agenda beyond curiosity. That quickly turned into a problem.
Gear kept being added to the collection, a proper home studio got built, and at some point photography stopped being a hobby and became the thing I think about most. When I'm not writing code, I'm shooting, editing, or planning the next concept.

Smoke & RGB

Studio shoot with a smoke machine and RGB lighting. Deep saturated colors cutting through dense fog - bold blues, vivid magentas, intense greens. The smoke becomes part of the composition, not just atmosphere. Dramatic, otherworldly, and completely controlled.

Futuristic fashion meets studio lighting. Using neon gels, harsh rim lights, and moody backdrops to build the cyberpunk aesthetic entirely in-studio - no city backdrop needed. Deep purples, electric blues, and harsh magenta highlights. All control, zero compromise.
